Session Overview
You've done the learning. Now you need to know how to actually approach the exam. This session brings the pieces together and focuses on the practical side of working through the written/aural exam: understanding what you're being asked to do, managing the audio, making decisions quickly and using your time strategically. In this session, we’ll cover: • How to approach the exam from the moment you start • Understanding the structure and flow of the exam • How to use your reading time effectively • Working with the audio without losing track of the written paper • Strategies for finding the information you need in an excerpt • How to decide what to answer first • Managing your time across different question types • What to do when you don't immediately know an answer • Strategies for keeping moving when you're under pressure • Putting your strategies into practice with exam-style activities You’ll leave with: ✓ A clear plan for approaching the exam ✓ Strategies for managing the audio and written paper together ✓ Practical time-management strategies ✓ A better understanding of how to work efficiently under exam conditions 60 minutes · Live online via Google Meet This session is designed for students preparing for the VCE Music Contemporary Performance written/aural exam.

Rescheduling: You can reschedule your booking online up to 48 hours before the session, subject to availability. Late cancellations & non-attendance: Bookings cancelled less than 48 hours before the session, or sessions missed without notice, are not eligible for a refund. Online sessions: All sessions are delivered live online via Google Meet. Your individual Google Meet link will be provided in your booking confirmation and reminder emails. Recording: Sessions may be recorded for enrolled participants to access after the session. By booking, participants acknowledge that the session may be recorded.
